Can you identify this sound?

The unidentified sound file is now working! Please have a listen and let us know what you think it is?

This is our recording of the 'Alien Ducks' or 'USO' as we read online (Unidentified Submersed Objects). Can anyone help us out by telling us what creature/thing made this weird sound?

You can see why we were a little freaked out! This 'alien duck' sound was echoing throughout our steel-hulled boat each night we were anchored at Magnetic Island... any ideas? Please let us know!

  1. Cerae, i cant make it work. when i hit the play button it goes to the end in 1 sec and i cant hear anything. do i have to download anything to hear it? do i have to save it as a source? The mystery will have to last till we get back from straddie - but we have a friend in Tville who may be able to help on this one. Talk later.

  2. Hmmm that's such a shame that it didn't work for you! I coded it myself to work with quicktime player - do you have that on your laptop?
Any help identifying this sound will be gratefully received!

  5. Hey, it says I'm not logged in or do not have permission to view the file when I try to download the mp3 from the source (http://www.filefreak.com/files/729413_ltmo0/Sequence%2001.mp3)

    I'm curious what it is!
